DRAIN ISSUES:

If your drains handled clear water only, they’d work great all the time. But your household drains are required to deal with soap, grease, hair, dirt and all sorts of items that can clog them up. Your American Plumbing Professional has the training and tools to handle any kind of drain cleaning challenge to get all your drains cleaned and working properly.

Kitchen drains. The constant draining of grease, soap and food waste adds up to drains that run more slowly and clog over time.

Toilet drains. Toilet paper is designed to disintegrate. Facial tissue, baby wipes or other products aren’t, and flushing these items is a typical cause of toilet clogs. Another common issue when children are present is the flushed toy or sock. Fortunately, there’s a special plumbing tool that can cut through any obstruction in the pipe safely, giving your toilet drain a complete cleaning at the same time.

Shower/tub drains. Water should drain immediately when you’re showering and in just a few minutes after a bath. If it’s draining slowly, your tub or shower trap and drainpipe could be clogged with soap and hair.

Bathroom sink drains. Toothpaste, soap and debris can lead to slow draining and clogging. If you lose a piece of jewelry down the sink drain, don’t run any more water. Call your American Plumbing Professional, who should be able to retrieve the lost item without too much difficulty.

Floor drains. Laundry rooms, basements, garages, patios, driveways and even older bathrooms often have a drain to carry away water and prevent flooding. Usually they are equipped with a trap that should be filled with water to prevent odors and sewer gas from escaping. We can service all your drain needs.

Main sewer lines. All your household drains lead into your main sewer line, which connects to a city sewer line or septic tank. The clogging culprit here is usually water-seeking roots that can actually break through the line and clog the drain.

Pumps

We service a variety of pumps to keep the water flowing and are available 24/7 to deal with your pump needs. Pumps are utilized to move liquids from one location to another. Like any piece of mechanical equipment with moving parts, they wear out over time and may need to be repaired or replaced periodically.

Tubs/Showers

Today's bathrooms feature an array of shower and tub designs. Most are conventional tub and shower combinations, others have water jets, shower heads and varying faucet designs. Our licensed plumbing specialists are experts in handling all shower repairs, bathtub drain repairs, water pressure issues and even unit installations/replacements.

Disposals

In the kitchen, large quantities of food and debris that end up in disposals can overwhelm and clog the kitchen sink drain. Few things are more frustrating than a kitchen sink that won't drain. American Plumbing Professionals can repair or replace broken disposals to get your sink back to normal in no time.

Waterlines / Piping

Your home contains both hot and cold water lines which supply potable water to your plumbing fixtures. We can repair all types of piping including copper, pvc, cpvc, pex, galvenized, poly, and steel pipe. Insurance studies suggest that over 80% of insurance claims in a home are a result of water line breaks.

Water Heaters

Water heaters are very important to any busy household. If you are like most people, plenty of hot water keeps your household running smoothly; from showers, baths, and laundry to dishwashing. Our dedicated plumbers ensure that you have hot water when you need it by maintaining your hot water tank or tankless system and all its components. We service and install both the traditional tank style and energy efficient tankless water heaters. We also provide emergency plumbing service in the event your water heater stops working or is leaking.

Sinks

A sink or basin is a bowl-shaped fixture that is used for washing hands or small objects. Sinks can also include a garbage disposal system for food waste which, over time, can become clogged. Our plumbing professionals can un-clog drains and keep the drain flow working properly.

Toilets

A toilet is a plumbing fixture and disposal system primarily intended for the disposal of bodily wastes. By checking the seals, the flushing mechanics, water flow and the drain system, our plumbers ensure that waste products finds its way out of your home properly.

Faucets

A faucet is a plumbing fixture that can provide cold and hot water for use in the kitchen, bath, laundry and outdoor purposes. We repair and install faucets to maximize your water flow.
